November 2017 - Part 1
A few snippets to start the month and I am pretty sure
that might be a Quirk pictured above and i spotted
another one the other day along with a mystical ball
humming on the side of the track and another ball clearly
from the pottery, there is a connection I am thinking.

Quirks from the pottery
Yes Heather has been busy, also with lot’s of
plantings and in particular the gift of bulk Renga
Renga Lilies a NZ favourite and they should do well,
thank you Sue. The plantings have mainly been in
marginal areas where there are no formal gardens and
intended as a blending in between environments.
This is a place where a multitude of disparate
environments come together in a mix that would not
please any purist but is nice to walk amongst.
Another of Heathers favourite projects, The
Bromeliad Walk” (a part of The Sculpture Walk) is
looking really good with arrays of orchids and colour.
The orchid display is way better than the Kauri Pond
Walk this year although that too is constantly being
tweaked into shape.
