This is a new gallery area, one that is still basically under development.Set under the Oak Tree and verging on the edge of the forest it is an almost hidden space, (Dragons tend to like hidden). It will feature Dragon Sculptures in stone and there are many months of sculpting ahead to fill the gallery. Meantime at least some of the stone to be sculpted has been mounted in the gallery on their respective fence posts........ it gives an idea of how it may look and feel with an expectation of around twelve sculptures in the final count. Also there are a couple of older dragon sculptures and one new one now in place. To help with the “birthing” process Heather has created a Dragons Nest complete with an exuberant clutch of eggs. The new dragon/Taniwha sculpture is what triggered the creation of the new gallery area, along with a realization we were running out of display space and the sudden feeling that Dragons were needed.......... The next sculpture to be created for the gallery is one that i have been meaning to create for many years now, it’s time is arriving and resting place assured.
For a comprehensive view of all of Treedragon’s Sculptures you can follow the link to Treedragon’s website, the sculpture section, here (it goes to another website).

This next photo is of the sculpture that triggered the gallery into creation, it currently has found a home by the nest at the entrance of the gallery. A very archetypal work with it’s egg form and early Taniwha representation, (a dragon in a sense).
