Well I guess the grumpy Kereru bit is self evident, and it was obviously a bit
ruffled about the whole deal, what with me invading it’s space in the only dab
of morning winter sun......................... more
So I’m thinking even frozisslled banana palms have their own beauty. It’s
almost cruel really, each year they suck the rays and adorn the garden with
degrees of tropical magnificence then Whammo! it’s a mini iceage and an
overnight reduction to a dribbling heap of..................... more
I have been informed by a fan(?) displaying clear questioning overtones to
voice, that there were no postings for September. It was duly noted that
it was now the 2nd of October and excuses made but really there is not
much cure for “....can’t be bothered” however rectification was promised
so we have this retrospective masquerading as a timely post for all those
that do not read this.................... more
Spring Fed Guilt Trips
So here I am one day after recovering from lack of Septemberization on
these pages and already I am writing anew... maybe that’s the guilt bit..........
and it is still spring, hence the header.
Such a multitude of spring cameos offer themselves this time of year.....
yes well it is spring, but none the less the exuberance of the season
astounds. Great hairy crowns of unfurling................. more

So there you have it - the definitive evidence for warmer climes to be..... A
scattering of daffodils somehow transformed from innocuous green
knitting needles spearing the barrenness into solar “wannabe’s” now
trumpeting the approaching season.
Of course more polite circles could do without mention of the hairy lemon
department........................ more
